Pete was one of six children born to Jacob and Millie Generalovich. He was predeceased by is siblings Charles, Maria and Alexander Generalovich, Mary Tringali and Helen Antovich. Peter was joined in marriage to Helen Popovich on August 5, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan. They spent 58 wonderful years together raising their five children and enjoying their six grandchildren. He was a Korean War veteran in the United States Army. Pete was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather (DEDA) and friend. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. GILROY JOHN GILROY MD FRCP FACP(S) passed away on November 13, 2008 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Dr. Gilroy, a resident of Bloomfield Hills, was the former chairman of neurology at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak . Prior to that, he was the Chairman of Neurology at Wayne State University and Harper Hospital . His vision and passion led to the creation of the Beaumont Neuroscience Center, a state of the art teaching and care facility. He was revered by patients and admired by colleagues. He was a published author and renowned lecturer and teacher. Dr Gilroy was 83 years old. He is survived by his wife Renee Terry Gilroy, his children Ian, Robin and Wendy (David) Clements, his grandchildren Allyson, Jonathon, Amanda, Alexis, Jourdan, Alaina, and John (Jac), his great granddaughter Taylor, and the mother of his children, Betty Gilroy. GOETZ ANGUS GERALD GOETZ JR ANGUS GOETZ JR of Bloomfield Hills; born September 28, 1935, in Detroit; died November 10, 2008, in his home, after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Bloomfield Hills, he had also resided in Grosse Pointe. He was an attorney with his own firm, Hardig, McConnell, Goetz & Palmiere, P.C, of Bloomfield Hills. He received his BA from the University of Michigan in 1957 and his LLB from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1961. Angus was a lecturer on ethics and professional responsibility. He was also a member of the Professional and Judicial Ethics Committee and was its Chairperson from 1977-1983 and 1988-1994. He was also Chairperson of the Client Protection Fund Committee, 2001-2004, held numerous positions with the Michigan State Bar Association and Oakland Bar Association, was nominated for the Champion of Justice Award by the State Bar of Michigan, was a fellow of the American Bar Foundation in 1987, and received the State Bar of Michigan Roberts P. Hudson Award for "Outstanding and Unique" services in 1983. He was also a member of the Turtle Lake Club, Michigan Bar Association. GOLEY WILLIAM H GOLEY WILLIAM GOLEY BILL GOLEY Age 66, of Duncan, SC, November 12, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice, Spartanburg, SC. Bill was born in Kentucky in 1942 and moved to West Virginia in 1949. After graduating Van High School, Van, WV in 1961, he moved to Michigan, where he lived until moving to South Carolina in 2005. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. and Geneva Campbell Goley, his wife, Nancy Jane, his brother, Del Goley and mother-in-law, Ethella Miller. He worked for Posacut in Novi for 34 years prior to his retirement, was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church, Farmington Hills, and attended Redemption World Outreach Center, Greenville, SC. Bill is survived by his brother, Morris (Sharon) of Canton, OH, sister, Jeanette (Curtis) Elkins of Madison, WV and Glenna (Gary) Miller of Duncan, SC, with whom he resided. He will be greatly missed by special friends, Dan Valentine, Mick Uhrig, many nieces, nephews and friends in Michigan. Many people did not know he lost his right eye in the war. He was awarded the Purple Heart, EAME Theatre Ribbon with three bronze stars and Croix De Guerre with Palm. He was a life member of Sgt. At the age of 16, she met the love of her life Thomas Groves Jr. and they were married on March 6th 1970. Together, they have two loving children Jamie and Angela. Tom and Karen moved to Dearborn Heights in 1971, then to Northville in 1976. She dedicated the next many years to raising her two children. Karen had a beautiful voice and a passion for theater that led to her involvement with the Plymouth Theater Guild for over 10 years, serving as President for over 7 years. She also served as a member of the Player's Guild of Dearborn as both a performer and board member. She worked at Bill Knapp's Restaurant for many years sharing her warm smile with her customers. She also loved working at Foursight Creative Group in Plymouth from where she retired in 2004.
