Restaurants Within and Outside Resort

 Within Resort: The resort has several restaurants of all types, and many offer entertainment. If you pick up an activity guide at the Schuss lodge, it will list the hours for each restaurant in the resort. Note: Some of these restaurants may be affected by the resort's current renovation).

• Ivan's or the Pub, open in season, is walking distance. To get there, take the trails behind the townhouse to Schuss Village, or call for a shuttle ride. If you drive, turn left out of the townhouse complex and left to Schuss Village.

• Weiskopf’s Grill is in Cedar River Village and serves breakfast, lunch, and casual dinner.  You can call for a shuttle or turn right on Schuss Mountain Drive and follow signs to Cedar River Village Lodge.  

• Arnie’s Grill is in Summit Village and has sandwiches. We haven’t tried this one!  You can call for a shuttle or turn right on Schuss Mountain Drive and follow signs to Summit Village.

• The Lakeview Restaurant at Summit Village was recently renovated. It has a beautiful view, and their buffet is awesome!

Restaurant Outside the Resort: There area also restaurants outside the resort. Those restaurants we have tried and like are below:

• Toonies serves breakfast, lunch, dinner; their specialty is steak and fish. Location: 216 N Bridge in downtown Bellaire next to the theatre. 231 533-8513

• LuLu’s Bistro serves gourmet dinners. Location: 213 N Bridge in downtown Bellaire across from the theatre. 231 533-5252

• Bellaire Bar and Restaurant is exactly how you might picture it. It has great mushroom burgers and onion rings. Location: 217 N. Bridge Street in downtown Bellaire across from the movie theatre. 231 533-8513

• Short’s Brew Pub makes many of their own great beers. They also have live entertainment and a light food menu. Location: 127 N. Bridge Street, downtown Bellaire. 231 533-6622

         Papa K’s Subs and Pizza is on M-88 towards Bellaire at 201 S Division Street. They have an indoor putt putt golf course, 231-533-6844. They also deliver from Mancelona 231 587-0555

        There is a McDonald's on M-88 in Bellaire and on 131 north of Mancelona.

        There are Dairy Queens in downtown Bellaire and in downtown Mancelona.

Groceries:  Glen's is a large full service grocery and drug store. Follow directions to M-88 to the Glen’s in Bellaire. There is also a Glen’s in Mancelona on US 131.
